The CSSLP certification is designed to validate secure software development practices and expertise in the wake of unforeseen challenges of data security and privacy. It aims to stem the proliferation of security vulnerabilities resulting from insufficient development processes. CSSLP is now the most-sought credential to demonstrate best practices and competency in addressing security issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

About the Certification

  • Awarded by International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium [(ISC)2®]
  • Founded in 1989, (ISC)2 is regarded as the international Gold Standard for information security credentials worldwide, with more than 60,000 credential holders in 138 countries
  • Launched in September 2008, CSSLP is accredited with ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024.
  • As of January 2010, there are 1,000 CSSLP certification holders across the globe.

  • Appointed by (ISC)2, KORNERSTONE is the first and only Authorized Education Affiliate in Hong Kong
  • Conducted by an (ISC)2 Authorized Instructor
  • 45-hour training program, including
  1. Instructor-led class room training (42 hours)
  2. Examination drill (3 hours)
  • Official study material provided by (ISC)2
  • Free re-sitting for those who fail the exam and have 80% of attendance or above
  • Eligible for Continuing Education Fund (CEF)

Examination Highlights

  • CSSLP exam is a 4-hour Computer-Based Testing (CBT)
  • Consists of 175 multiple choice questions based on CSSLP CBK
  • Examination fee: US549
  • Candidates can schedule a test appointment and take the CSSLP examination at any available slot (have to be within 90 days after the registration authorization)
